It provides concrete form to an idea and aids in focusing the power of the unconscious mind to bring this idea forward into the physical world. The process of creating a sigil is done with much care. Once the sigil is designed, I hand carve it onto a candle and it is colored with glitter. As the candle burns, the intention is released into the universe.
